Success Of SPHOORTHY-2012 (Patriotic Songs Competition) for Govt. School students, R.R.Dist

VandeMatharam..!

The word which played a vital role in the Indian independence movement, which changed the India's fate from slavery to Independent India (Bharath). Vande Mātaram means "I bow to thee, Mother" had inspired many freedom fighters and made them to struggle vigorously over many years with an ardent desire to break free from the bondages of slavery. They sacrificed everything for winning the freedom by sparing their own life.

What motivated these brave sons of Bharat to make the supreme sacrifices? Who guided them to sacrifice their lives for the freedom of future generations? Who/ what had imparted the nationalistic feelings in the hearts of the people?

In order to instill the same selfless values in the upcoming generations, GSF planned to conduct several programs that stimulate patriotic feelings and inculcate these values.

The first in such programs is PATRIOTIC SONGS COMPETITION for the govt. school students. The foundation wants to mould the present generation on the pattern of our worthy and illustrious heroes like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukh dev, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Netaji etc. This would also help to recognize the in-born talents of the students and encourage them in their real life.

This program was started in 2008 initially at Yacharam mandal Govt. schools. For the current educational year 2012-13, we conducted the Patriotic Songs competition for 12 mandals. Each event will be of 3 group rounds namely, 1) Vandemartharam Full text & JanaGanaMana 2) Telugu Patriotic Song and 3) Folk Song and a special Individual Folk song.

On September 2nd we finished the Grand Finale of Spoorthy-2012, patriotic songs competition. In the Final event we also conducted Group dance Competition (Patriotic Songs)
