We, Gnana Saraswathi Foundation is a group of likeminded and highly motivated individuals engaged in the task of village level reforms with temple as nerve centre & Govt. Schools as focus areas.

Many freedom fighters struggled vigorously over hundred’s of years with an ardent desire to break free from the bondages of slavery. They sacrificed everything for winning the freedom without caring for their life. In order to instill in the upcoming generations, the same selfless values, GSF planned to conduct several programs that stimulate patriotic feelings and inculcate these values. 

            The first in such programs is PATRIOTIC SONGS COMPETITION Spoorthy -2012 for the school students started in the year of 2008 in 1 Mandal and conducted every year. Now for the Current educational year’2012 it’s distributed over East RangaReddy Dist. Likewise we finished totally 4 entry-level (1 program for 3 mandal) programs, which include almost 140 Govt.Schools across 12 mandals. Now we are going to celebrate the Grand-Finale event.

 Top 5 Teams from each Zone i.e. a total of 20 Govt Schools are participating in the Final Event.

Venue: Babu Jagjivanram Bhavan, Kothapet, Hyd.

Date: 02nd September, 2012(SUNDAY) 

           09:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Inauguration function.

           10:00 AM - 03:30 PM: Finale competition.

            03:30 on wards closing ceremony

INAUGURATION OF WATERPLANT(250Ltr/Hr) with the support of 50 Cents Period USA

As part of the foundation activities we are conducting several programs from past years. One of those initiatives is Water purification plants in order to provide purified water for Govt. school students. On Indian Independence Day, Aug - 15th we celebrated Water Purification Plant inauguration in  Govt. high school. Total strength of the school is 750 students from a high school and 2 Primary Schools. Village population of 7000 people, teachers and School Head master Krishna Murthy were celebrated this as a national festival out of utter pleasure. The Govt. school from Medipally is the first school that is established in Ibrahimpatnam constituency. 

This is the third water plant that established by Gnanasarawathi Foundation with the Great Support of 50 Cents Period, USA. Capacity of the plant is 250 Ltr/Hour, Inaugurated by one of the GSF advisory board members Shri. Rajendar Reddy, President Gandhi global family, AP chapter.

Foundation volunteers: Srinivas, Mahendar, Anand ,Students, teachers and villagers were present in the program. While speaking about the plant these people said that they were blessed by the plant to got rid of fluoride water.

Inspire the next generation by remembering the sacrifices made by great freedom fighters. For the education year 2012-13 we are conducting the Patriotic Songs for 12 mandals comprises of 140 Govt schools.

Total 4 events comprising 1 event for 3 mandals. There will 3 Group rounds for an event namely,

 1) Vandemartharam & JanaGanaMana full text, 2) Telugu Patriotic Song and 3) Folk Song and a Individual Folk song. 

Top 5 teams will be eligible for Grand finale.

The Fourth patriotic songs competition event was finished for 3 mandals (Ghatkesar, Keesara, Shamirpet ) on 17th AUG 2012. 

We have participation from 13 schools.

SPHOORTHY- 2012 (Patriotic Songs Competition)

To commemorate a memorable day in the history of modern India – August 15th, the day in 1947 when we won the struggle for independence of our nation.                           Many freedom fighters struggled vigorously over 100 years with an ardent desire to break free from the bondages of slavery. They sacrificed everything for winning the freedom without caring for their life.                   What motivated these brave sons of Bharat to make the supreme sacrifices? Who guided them to sacrifice their lives for the freedom of future generations? Who/ what had imparted the nationalistic feelings in the hearts of the people? In order to instil in the upcoming generations, the same selfless values, GSF planned to conduct several programs that stimulate patriotic feelings and inculcate these values.                                      The first in such programs is PATRIOTIC SONGS COMPETITION for the school students. The foundation wants to mould the present generation on the pattern of our worthy and illustrious heroes like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukh dev, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Netaji etc. This would also help to recognize the in-born talents of the students and encourage them in their real life.

Pratibha Awards 2012 - Celebrations of success

Much awaited event from GnanaSaraswathi Foundation, Pratibha Awards 2012has finished successfully on 8th June. It’s been a wonderful journey fromselecting the top five meritorious students to obtaining the good resultsduring the recent SSC Public Results and felicitating the students and theirteachers.

We finished thefollowing programs under the Pratibha Awards distribution. We have contributionfrom 61 Schools of 12 Mandals of Ranga Reddy Dist. and awarded total of 146 toppers in following way:

• Reward for those students who secured top two (2) ranks from each mandal.
• Awarded with a bag, certificate and memento for all the students who secured more than 500 marks (9+ GPA as per latest result pattern).
• Felicitation to all those students who scored cent percent marks (100/100) in any one (or more) of the subjects.
• Felicitation to the school staff which secured cent percent result.
