A BROAD LEVEL SUMMARY OF GSF ACTIVITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS

• Amma Vadi (Mother’s lap)
• Badi (School)
• Gudi (temple)

In 2005 GSF has started with an intention to motivate and encourage rural students. The First programme to  start was GUDI (temple) construction, 2 temples in 3 years. ―

SREE GNANA SARASWATHI TEMPLE‖ for student’s enhancement is constructed only with the contributions of the students which is one of the 2 temples works as center for programs held by GSF. For the last 4 years GSF has been working for the benefit of Rural poor and deserving chldren.

Badi(school) is the second most important place after the Mother’s lap which plays very crucial role in moulding an individual as a great human being; A country’s future is created in the class rooms. So school is the center of GSF activities.

GSF main goals are

 · Recognizing and encouraging the talents of students in the early stage

 · To improve ethical values in the students

 · To help them in being a responsible citizen

GSF started with gnana saraswathi temple as center and government schools as platform for the development of students in rural areas because those students are losing their career paths due to illiteracy in parents and poverty. Anyway government is giving importance to them in the same way but it is getting failure due to lack of correct implementation and it is also not good to depend on government for everything.

So GSF wants to give possible support to them and started its programs; from 1 mandal in 2008 GSF spread its works to 8 mandals (92 schools). GSF is now organizing its full fledged activities in 3 mandals over 35 govt. schools. Around 12000 students are being benefitted by this program.
The Activities of GSF are

1. Patriotic songs competition
2. Prasikshana training program specially designed for SSC students
3. Libraries 
4. Aksharabysam
5. Coaching for Navodaya Entrance Exam
6. Annual day celebrations in government schools
7. Distribution of stickers with inspirational patriots

All these programs are being held with the support of  generous people.

Meaning:

For any social activity to be fruitful following are required

Adhishtanam -- Has to determine a goal

Thadakarta----It should have some activists who work in accordance with that goal

Karanancha pruthik vidham—It should have a clear policy.

Vividaacha prithak shreshta—consistent and untiring efforts are needed to achieve that goal

Divam chivatra panchamam—if all the above four are appropriately considerd ,then we get god’s grace as fifth support.

The above sloka is compared to GSF as follows; GSF is formed with a goal to enlighten rural students . It has designed a plan with certain programs to achieve goal. All the programs conducted by the GSF have become successful due to the relentless efforts of its activists. As said above BADI & GUDI programs are running successfully. But we were clueless for two years to begin AMMA VADI programme as mentioned in the above sloka like god’s grace a lion hearted woman Mrs. Lorrie came forward to lend her helping hand .

Mrs lorrie of Lavya foundation which also works for Rural students progress; During her visit in 2010 she interacted with some of the rural Students which made her to determine for the initiation of 50cents period especially for girls. She started 50 cents period with the support of her friends as well as the contributions by other bighearted people. Now the awaiting Amma vadi program is initiated by GSF with the coordination of 50 centes period. Lorrie is very enthusiastic and she expressed her whole heartedness towards Amma vadi (mother’s lap) program .As a part of it when she was here to Andhra Pradesh in sep 2011for a 2days visit (sep26th &sep 27th) she visited all the GSF working schools and expressed her satisfaction about GSF work . In 2days busy schedule which started at 7 in the morning and wound up at 9 pm I am amazed by Mrs. Lorrie’s commitment in knowing the people’s problems. Her untried efforts to make people educated is outstanding. She beautifully inculcated moral values to students through her inspirational messages. Throughout her visit I must appreciate her integrity to help the society is incomparable.

Two important programs which are accomplished by GSF during these 2 days Lorries’s visit are

1. Initiation of Amma Vadi program which gives foremost importance to the female education in rural areas.

2. Adoption of 3 orphan girls who are in very pathetic conditions.

Summing up LORRIE L King's 2 DAY VISIT 

1st day(26th September 2011)

Nandivanaparthi 

                       In nandivanaparthi Lorrie visited zphs high school, she met Head Master(HM)and teachers of the school in the temple later she visited GNANA SARASWATHI TEMPLE constructed by GSF as a part of GUDI(temple) program. Boligunta Thanda 

                    In boligunta thanda Lorrie interacted with all the thanda people and visited primary school students and their activities.

                                       

                                       

Kothapally 

                     In kothapally zphs school Lorrie got warm welcome from teachers, HM and students. There Lorrie was very happy to see WATER PURIFICATION PLANT established by Lavya foundation later she had thankful meet with HM and teachers followed by students regards to lorrie and students cultural activities.

                                       

                                        

                                        

                                       

                                       

                                       

 Kothapally Thanda

                     In kothapally thanda lorrie was very interested to meet banjara people and had a nice time with them participating in their cultural dances later she visited there primary school and conveyed her message to educate children.

                                       

                                       

Lorrie had meeting with all schools HMs from Manchal mandal for sometime in the evening at Ibrahimpatnam.

                                       

Lorrie had meeting with all GSF activists followed by launching of Amma vadi program in the presence of guests and she shared her feelings in coordinating 50 cent with amma vadi program. Later Lorrie was warmly honored by GSF.

Three orphan Girls 

                    Lorrie visited 3 orphan girls at Gadda mallai gudem and interacted with girls also their grandmother and neighbors.

                                        

                                       

Rangapur 

                   Lorrie continued her visit to zphs high school at rangapur and had meeting with HM &teachers of the school and interacted with students later she conveyed her message to the students.

                                        

                                       

                                       

                                       

Perikarala Thanda

                   Lorrie received warm reception from perikarala thanda high school students and teachers ,she had a good interaction with teachers and discussed about progress of the school for long time later visited the thanda and their lifestyle along with students and teachers.

                                       

                                        

                                       

                                        

                                       

Loyapally 

                   Lorrie got heart full welcome from loyapally high school students, HM and teachers. Lorrie was firstly very glad to see WATER PURIFICATION PLANT at loyapally launched by Lavya foundation in coordination with GSF. Lorrie had thankful meeting with HM and teachers followed by students greetings and satisfactory speeches thanking Kiran sir. Lorrie was greatly honored by loyapally students with her favourite banjara worked clothes. కొత్తపల్లి పాఠశాల ఆదర్శం
న్యూస్‌టుడే, యాచారం: రెండేళ్ల క్రితం యాచారం మండలం కొత్తపల్లి ఉన్నత, ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాలల్లో కనీస వపతులుండేవి కాదు. భవనాలపై ఏపుగా పెరిగిన మొక్కలు, చాలీచాలని శిథిల గదులు, చుట్టూ అపరిశుభ్రత. ఇరుగ్గా పరిసరాలు కొద్దిసేపు ఆ ప్రాంతంలో నిలబడాలన్నా ఇబ్బందిగా అనిపించేది. ఇదంతా రెండేళ్ల క్రితం మాట. ఇంతలోనే ఎంత మార్పు ఆహ్లాదభరితంగా పరిసరాలు, గదిలో బెంచీలు, గోడలపై చక్కటి సూక్తులు, తాగడానికి శుద్ధినీరు, అన్నింటా క్రమశిక్షణ. ఇంత తక్కువ వ్యవధిలో అంతటి మార్పునకు కారణం ఉపాధ్యాయుల్లో అంకితభావం, దాతల సాయం. ఉన్నతపాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు పి.గోవర్దన్‌ గొప్పతనానికి నిదర్శనం ఈ మార్పు. పేదరికంలో పుట్టి పట్టుదలతో ఎదిగిన ఆయన పాఠశాలను దేవాలయంగా మార్చారు. ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలకు వచ్చే వారంతా పేదల పిల్లలే కావడంతో వారంతా చదువుకుని గొప్పగా ఎదగాలనే ఆకాంక్షతో పని చేస్తున్నారు. నెరవేరిన ఎమ్మెల్యే హామీ...
మంచిరెడ్డి కిషన్‌రెడ్డి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా గెలిచిన తొలి రోజుల్లో కొత్తపల్లి పర్యటనకు వచ్చారు. పాఠశాల వసతుల తీరు చూసి ఆవేదన చెందారు. గదులపై పెరిగిన మొక్కలను తీయించాలని గ్రామ పంచాయతీ వారిని కోరారు. రూ.3.5 లక్షలు మంజూరు చేయడంతో అప్పటి వరకు వర్షం వస్తే కురిసే గదులకు మరమ్మతులు చేయించారు. మరుగుదొడ్లను,ప్రహరీని బాగు చేయించి ద్వారం (గేట్‌) నిర్మించారు. అన్ని గదులకురంగులు వేయించారు. నాలుగు అదనపు గదులను రాజీవ్‌ విద్యా మిషన్‌ నుంచి ఎమ్మెల్యే మంజూరు చేయించడంతో నిర్మాణం గోవర్దన్‌ పాఠశాలకు ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయునిగా వచ్చిన గోవర్దన్‌ పాఠశాల అభివృద్ధికి ఇలా శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. గ్రామస్థులతో ఈ బడి మనదని పించేలా కార్యక్రమాలు మొదలు పెట్టారు. అందరం కలిస్తే ఆదర్శంగా చేయగలమని ఉత్తేజాన్ని నింపారు. మరింత అభివృద్దికి దాతల వేటలో పడ్డారు.
జ్ఞాన సరస్వతీ ఫౌండేషన్‌ తోడ్పాటు
జ్ఞాన సరస్వతీ పౌండేషన్‌ సహకారంతో పాఠశాల వార్షికోత్సవాన్ని కార్పొరేట్‌ స్కూల్‌ను తలపించేలా నిర్వహించారు. విద్యార్థుల్లో ఎనలేని ఉత్సాహం నింపింది. అటు చదువులో రాణిస్తూ ఇటు క్రమశిక్షణ అలవర్చుకున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వం పాఠశాలలకిచ్చే సౌకర్యాలను సద్వినియోగం చేసుకున్నారు. విద్యుత్‌ సౌకర్యం ఏర్పాటు చేసుకుని ప్రతి గదికి విద్యుత్‌ దీపాలు అమర్చుకున్నారు. అన్ని గదులకు రంగులు వేయించి గోడలపై స్ఫూర్తినిచ్చే సూక్తులు రాయించారు.
రోటరీ క్లబ్‌ సహకారంతో...
ఎల్బీనగర్‌ రోటరీ క్లబ్‌ సహకారంతో అన్ని తరగతులకు బెంచీలు సమకూర్చుకున్నారు. రోటరీ క్లబ్‌ అధ్యక్షులు రాంరెడ్డి ఇక్కడి ఉపాధ్యాయుల పనితీరు చూసి అడిగిన వెంటనే సుముఖత వ్యక్తం చేశారు.వాటాధనం నూ. 20 వేలను స్థానిక తెరాస నాయకులు కె.నారాయణరెడ్డి సమకూర్చారు. ఒకటి నుంచి పదోతరగతి వరకు అన్ని గదుల్లోనూ బెంచీలు సరిపడా ఉన్నాయి. ఉపాధ్యాయులుండే కార్యాలయం గదిని చూడచక్కగా మార్చుకున్నారు. ప్రాథమిక, ఉన్నత పాఠశాలలను వీడదీస్తూ ఉన్న గోడను తొలగించి ఆవరణను విశాలంగా మార్చారు.
ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాల కూడా...
ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాల ఆవరణలోనే ఉన్నత పాఠశాలను నడుపుతున్నారు. ఆ పాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు ఓరుగంటి రమేశ్‌ గోవర్దన్‌కు అండగా నిలిచి కలిసి పనిచేస్తుండటంతో పాఠశాల అభివృద్ధి వేగంగా సాగింది. పోటీపడి సౌకర్యాలు మెరుగుపర్చారు. ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాలలో దృశ్య శ్రవణం ద్వారా పాఠాలు బోధిస్తున్నారు. గోడలపై పాఠ్యంశాలకు సంబంధించిన అక్షరాలు ఫ్లెక్సీల ద్వారా అమర్చి విద్యార్థులు వాటిని కంఠస్థం చేసేలా చూస్తున్నారు.
మధ్యాహ్నం భోజనానికి శుద్ధిజలం
జ్ఞాన సరస్వతీ ఫౌండేషన్‌ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో తాగునీటి సమస్య పరిష్కరించడానికి శుద్ధిజలం ప్లాంట్‌లను దాతల సహకారంతో ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది. అందులో భాగంగా పౌండేషన్‌ వ్యవస్థాపకులు సదా వెంకట్‌రెడ్డి మొదటి ప్లాంట్‌ను ఇక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేయించారు. రూ.1.5 లక్షల ఖర్చుతో ఏర్పాటు చేయగా విద్యార్థుల తాగునీటి కష్టాలు తీరాయి. ఇప్పుడు వారంతా సంపూర్ణ ఆరోగ్యంతో పాఠాలు చక్కగా వింటున్నారు.
ఇంకా...
* నెడ్‌క్యాప్‌ సహకారంతో పొగరాని పొయ్యిని సమకూర్చుకుని మధ్యాహ్నం వంట చక్కగా చేస్తున్నారు.
* పాఠశాలకు ఏ అవసరం వచ్చిన నేనున్నానంటూ తెరస నాయకులు నారాయణరెడ్డి ముందుండి సాయం అందిస్తున్నారు. పదిలో ప్రథమ, ద్వితీయ స్థానాలు సాధించిన విద్యార్థులకు 15 ఆగస్టు వేడుకల్లో నగదు ప్రోత్సాహకం అందజేస్తున్నారు.
* మరోదాత శేఖర్‌రెడ్డి కూడా పిల్లలకు అవసరమైన పుస్తకాలు ఇతర సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించారు.
* కంప్యూటర్‌ గది, మరో రెండు తరగతి గదులు సిబ్బంది, వంటగది అవసరం వీటిని త్వరలోనే సమకూర్చుకుంటామని గోవర్దన్‌ అంటున్నారు.

Patriotic Songs Compettion

The most awaited event of the Gnanasaraswathi Foundation, PATRIOTIC SONGS COMPETITION-2011 has been finished on 28th August 2011 at Babu jagjeevanram Bhavan, Kothapet,HYD. with great participation over 60 Govt. Schools of 8 mandals from RR dist.. The strong will power of Govt. School students, teachers and GSF volunteers made the program such a huge success. In this regard we, Gnanasaraswathi Foundation are really thankful to everyone who all are part of this success. The audience enjoyed the Songs and Dance performed by rural Govt. students. The whole program was arranged in such a way that includes with the spirit of patriotism.

The details of the program as follows:


Honorable Guests for the staring ceremony are : Shri Venkat Reddy, National Convener MV Foundation. Shri Sirimalle Vishnu Kishore, Famous Music Director, Narasimha Reddy, industrialist. The Judes (guests) comments about the program and Gsf work in their words.
Shri Venkat Reddy mentioned that Patriotism needs to injected into the minds of children during their child hood only. It is very crucial to do this as patriotic Youths are essential for the country growth. Shri Vishnu Kishore given an offer to the rural Govt. School students that he will give a chance to these students in his upcoming Album.

Judges are impressed  by these programs and announced that they are ready to conduct a training camps for the selected students during the Dussera Holidays.

Solo song winners are : First prize winner : Mamatha ZPHS Lemoor, First Runner up :  Gayathri,ZPHS Hayath Nagar, and Second Runner up : Bhanu Prasad ZPHS Maheshwaram.


All the participants and students taken oath that every individual will work in the same way as the foundation is working and will try to fulfill the great dream of our freedom fighters to make our country as Super Power.

Water Purification System

Even Govt. is able to provide the mid day meal but along with the good it is also important that providing Pure Water.

 My heartful of thanks to Lavya Initiative and 50 Cents Team.On 15^th August, Independence day it is festive like scenario in Kothapally and Loyapally. All the Students, Teachers and villages are happy about as this is a mile stone in respective Schools. With the help of Lavya Initiative Inc. (USA) we established water purification plants in two Schools out of 9 schools to provide pure water to students.

The Schools details are as follows:

a)      Yacharam mandal ZPHS Kothapally, Rangareddy Dist. : Kothapally ZPHS school student strength is 400 out  of which most of them are from “ Banzara lambada community”

b)      Manchal mandal ZPHS kothapally , Rangreddy Dist.: Loyapally ZPHS School contains 600 students and here also the same case, most of the students from “ Banzara lambada community”

The whole program is incomplete without Kiran sir parents(Shri Janakiram & Smt.Bharathi), and Shri Pavan Ji, Shri Subhash Ji from Lavya Initiative inc. Hyderabad office.

Prathibha Awards For Rural Students

        It gives us immense pleasure to share this news as our "Gnanasaraswathi Foundation" has successfully celebrated the Pratibha award distribution function for rural 10th class Govt. School students who secured good scores during the Board of Secondary Education exams' 2011.
       This program held at Z.P.H.S. Girls School, Ibrahimpatnam on 29^th May’11. Shri. P. Narasimha Rao, Principal Senior Civil Judge. RR Dist., Shri. Ram Jaladurgam, Famous Psychotherapist Care Hospitals, Shri. S. Rajender Reddy, Bhudan Yagna Board Secretary, Shri. Srinivas Goud, MEO Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Babu Rao, MEO Yacharam Mandal, and Shri. K. Penta Reddy, First Vice Governor Lions Club of Hyderabad are attended the program as Chief Guests and addressed the students. Respective School Head Masters and Teachers also participated in the Function.

         We, Gnana Saraswathi Foundation is a group of likeminded and highly motivated individuals presently    engaged in the task of village level reforms with temple as nerve center and schools as focus areas.

         As part of Foundation work, we are conducting several programs for students from last 5 years. For rural Govt. School students, in order to score more than 500 marks in 10th Class SSC Public Examinations we conducted training camps by providing study material (with the Support and Aid of MCKS Foundation). By choosing top five meritorious students from every School in 35 Schools which covers 3 Mandals (10th Standard), we conducted training camps once in a month and a six day residential camp. Our intention and great labor of students resulted good scores in latest SSC Public examination Results, 2011. Out of 165 students 40 Students scored above 500 Marks and the rest scored more than 450 Marks. In this regard to encourage the merit we distributed Cash Prizes to those students who stood in Top 5 Ranks in their respective Mandals. Also distributed complimentary prizes to all those who secured more than 500 Marks.

Here we have the Zonal toppers, who stood in first three ranks.
    1)    Srilekha,  ZPHS Dandumailaram, Ibrahimpatnam  558 Marks

          2)   Pandu, ZPHS Nandi Wanaparthy, Yacharam 557 Marks.  

          3)  Shivaram, ZPHS Manchal, Manchal Mandal 552 Marks.

                    The toppers quoted that “The monthly training camps and 6 Days training camp were really helpful to score good marks. With the great inspiration from teachers and Foundation members they made their dream come true.”

Gnana Saraswathi foundation - Loyalapally Govt ZPHS celebrates School day wid pomp and colour

29th Jan 2011: Loyalapally- Located in the picturesque border of Rangareddy dist and Nalgonda dist and rich in folklore this village has been not very prominent on the list of Govt / Non govt agencies. Not at least until Gnana Saraswathi foundation (GSF) started to concentrate on the cultural activities as a medium of promoting and encouraging the children, their parents and the teachers to bring the school into the community center spot. The School now is the nucleus of the village and serves as the hotspot for cultural and developmental models in and around the village. All this for no big investments but small qualitative and cultural interventions by the GSF.
